The Jack White-fronted concern, The Dead Weather, is gearing up for the release of their second album, Sea of Cowards, due out May 10/11 according to their site. Listen along as Jack White, Alison Mosshart, Dean Fertita, and Jack Lawrence keep the spirit of the 60s alive as this crunchy-guitar-addled album is streamed live on vinyl on Ustream. It will be up for 24 hours, and can be streamed at their website, ustream or below…

On Monday, May 3rd, Myspace will be live streaming The Dead Weather performing Sea of Cowards in its entirety. The band will perform the album front to back in the live room at the Third Man Records building in downtown Nashville, the same space in which they played their very first show in March 2009. The exclusive live performance will begin streaming at 3pm PST/6pm EST on MySpace Music as well as the band’s Myspace page.
