Leading up to their new album expected this summer, Interpol has leaked a single called, “Lights.” It’s long (almost six minutes), it’s sprawling and it is dark. Like a heavy train leaving the station, the chugging guitars and rhythm build and gain speed as it goes. But just as the train leaves the station it’s over and you’re left waiting for track number two. Wonder when that next leak will be.

Download here –your email goes to Interpol, not to us–and let us know what you think about the new single.

By the way, Chicago, Interpol will be opening for U2 at Soldier Field, July 6, 2010.
