Let’s get right to it. Our lady iamamiwhoami has been busy this weekend. She released a single on Amazon, collaborated on the “Tara Busch Remix” of “B“. and now … we have a new video!

In the latest installment the lady appears to be growing out of a pot in a hothouse, covered in a plastic tarp. Perhaps she is being cultivated as a mandrake? If she is a mandrake plant, perhaps we will have a future video where she is transplanted back outside? As a build on the creepy anthropomorphized limbs from the earlier “Prelude” video, we now have limbs with blinking eyeballs.

Iamamiwhoami rips her way out of the tarp into the light and she’s wearing … a couple of doggie no-scratch collars? Hmm. Haven’t figured that one out yet. Maybe they’re meant to look like tree guards? She then spends much of the video looking up at a hanging basin of glass that looks like a candle holder. We’ll work on that one.

Well we certainly have to agree with the smart people over at Oh No They Didn’t blog that this certainly looks like Jonna Lee.

One element we have yet to identify: Close to the end of the video there is a very dark segment where they pan across a series of shadowy elements. They almost look like skulls with white sap on them (but could also be new roots?), but we couldn’t make out the details well enough to say for sure. (If you are able to crack this detail, let us know and we will update with full credit.)

The video ends panning back to the wood paneled room that the video begins with, focusing on a twiggy tree in the room with a collection of many of the totems from the series: a tree, wood paneling, six dangling strawberries, the doggie no-scratch collars, the hanging glass candle-holder, and there appear to be feathers on the tree.
